I noticed recently that I have started getting very lazy in adding features to my projects. At first I thought it might be because I am, ahm, simply getting lazy. Apparently, that wasn't the case. It is because I now care a lot about polish. Its not enough to add a feature or make something possible. Its also important to make it as useful, relevant and smooth as possible.
Sadly, what this translates into is that a feature that would have taken 1 commit and an hour worth of work now takes 4 hours and several commits. So every little feature has a huge cost associated with it. And since most of the projects that I work on are used by very few people, the return on them is not highlighted well enough that I get the equivalent return for the effort I put in.
However, I still managed to get a lot done today on window walker. Finally managed to integrate some of the awesome work that Mark did and I should have it merged into master by the end of the week.
Anyway, I am about to crash so good night :)
